TOUR DATES – The Sisters of Mercy to Return for UK’s Sonisphere

It has been twenty one years since goth legend Andrew Eldritch released an album under The Sisters of Mercy banner, with 1990′s underrated Vision Thing marking the end of an era. Following issues with record companies and Eldritch focusing on other projects, the band has remained inactive for some time. But this summer will mark The Sisters of Mercy‘s first festival appearance in the UK for two decades, in which they will perform at Sonisphere Knebworth, that is set to take place between the 8th and 10th of July. Other acts confirmed for the event include Diamond Head, InMe, Limp Bizkit, One Minute Silence, Motörhead and Slipknot.
