“At this point, I think the thing that I love doing more than anything else is recording,” Grandaddy mastermind Jason Lytle told Rave Magazine earlier this year as he focused on the reformation of his cult group. They are best known for their 2000 classic The Sophtware Slump, while the track A.M. 180 was featured in Danny Boyle’s hit horror flick 28 Days Later.
It has been six years since the release of their last album, the uneven Just Like the Fambly Cat, but with Lytle finally feeling motivated once again, Grandaddy have announced that they will be touring the United States, Europe and Great Britain later this year.
