No sooner has he departed from Michael Monroe’s band due to issues with “management” that guitarist Ginger has already announced that he will be performing at this summer’s Sonisphere. Much like with last year‘s Download, the former Wildhearts frontman will be performing two sets; one electric on the Bohemia Stage on Saturday 9th July at 7:25pm, in which he will be playing material from The Wildhearts, while the other will consist of acoustic nymbers. Ginger is reportedly replacing One Minute Silence, who announced earlier this month they were withdrawing from the line-up. Announcing today via Twitter, Ginger said; “Announcement: I will be play not one but TWO sets at this years Sonisphere!! Electric (Sat) and acoustic. More details to follow shortly.”
