NEWS – Trent Reznor Wins An Oscar

Trent Reznor has long been one of the most respected and influential figures in metal. The multi-instrumentalist, most known as the driving force behind industrial legends Nine Inch Nails, was also responsible for the early success of Marilyn Manson and the soundtracks to Natural Born Killers and Lost Highway. Last year, Reznor teamed up with filmmaker David Fincher for the Facebook drama The Social Network, which landed both with nominations at this year’s Academy Awards.

Along with collaborator Atticus Ross, Reznor was awarded with an Oscar for Best Original Score for his work on The Social Network, which may be the first of several projects that he will work on with Fincher over the coming years.
