Welsh glam rockers Tigertailz have gone through numerous line-ups throughout their twenty-four year career, having parted ways with vocalist Steevi Jaimz after the release of their debut album and then losing their bassist, Pepsi Tate, to cancer back in 2007. The group have announced that they have parted ways with drummer Matt Blakout and reunited with Ace Finchum, whose last appearance was on the 1991 album Banzai!.
This year marks the twentieth anniversary of their breakthrough album Bezerk (which was followed by a sequel sixteen years later) and, aside from Pepper, have returned to the same line-up. According to the band’s site: “Tigertailz have parted company with drummer Matt Blakout. The rest of the band wish Matt all the best in whatever he decides to do next – no doubt he’ll be smashing the skins like only he can with an exciting new project again very soon.
