Those who are heading to Download in a couple of weeks may be excited to hear that The Wildhearts frontman Ginger will be making two completely different appearances at the event. As well as his promising double act with former Hanoi Rocks vocalist Michael Monroe, Ginger has announced via The Wildhearts’ official website that he will also be headlining the new Jägermeister acoustic stage. This second performance will take place on Sunday 13th June and the band’s statement has revealed that; “Ginger will be hitting the stage at 7.00pm – accompanied by Billy Morrison, Chris Catalyst and Rich Jones (so far…) – for a half hour set of Wildhearts songs that he’s determined will be “the loudest, most OTT acoustic gig ever, or we will have failed. And we don’t fail. Right?””
The Download festival will once again take place at Donington Park, the former home of the legendary Monsters of Rock.
