Christian metallers Stryper are set to make a comeback next year with the release of their latest album The Covering, which will feature renditions of classics from Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest and frontman Michael Sweet has been giving his fans festive messages over the holidays via his Twitter page. With the year coming to an end Sweet has said; “I would like to take a moment to thank all of the Stryper fans, worldwide, who have supported us and been there for us from day one. We’re about to step into 2011 and it’s mind blowing that we began this journey 27 years ago!!! Makes you feel young eh? I look forward to seeing all of you in your city very, very soon and I want to express my sincere gratitude for your never ending loyalty and interest in what we do. We could not do it without you.”
