NEWS – Soundgarden to Release First Album in Fifteen Years

Seattle legends Soundgarden continue to chart their comeback with an announcement that they are set to return to the studio to record their first album in over a decade. The band split soon after the release of their fifth effort, 1996′s Down on the Upside, before reforming last year to great acclaim. In a post on their official site, the group revealed; “Over the past few months, we’ve been busy jamming, writing and hanging out together – exploring the creative aspect of being Soundgarden. It feels great. We have some cool new songs that we are going to record very soon. Thank you for all of the support!
