NEWS – Nominees Announced for Next Year’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

This year rock legend Alice Cooper was finally inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame after over forty years in the industry. Among his rivals for the title were Bon Jovi, who enjoyed major success during the late 1980s with the hit singles You Give Love a Bad Name and Livin’ on a Prayer, and iconic singer Neil Diamond.
The nominees for the 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have been announced and are as follows:

- Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
- Frddie King
- Laura Nyro
- Red Hot Chili Peppers
- Rufus with Chaka Khan

- Donna Summer
