The path took sucess for Steel Panther has been a long one. Formed a decade ago, the band have gone through numerous name changes, most notably Metal Skool and Metal Shop and are fronted by Michael Starr (born Ralph Saenz), who had briefly performed with L.A. Guns during the late 1990s.
Their breakthrough album, Feel the Steel, featured the hit singles Death to All But Metal and Community Property and ever since fans have been eager for a follow-up. On his Twitter page Starr has revealed that their next album is almost complete; “Just putting the finishing touches on the record right now. It sounds fucking amazing. Now we have 15 songs done and we have to Choose 12″
