NEWS – Lostprophets Label Guns N’ Roses a Joke for Their Behaviour at Reading

Guns N’ Roses‘ unpredictable and unreliable frontman Axl Rose has sank to a new low this week by firing his road crew for allegedly allowing him to sleep longer than planned, which resulted in the band taking to the stage at the Reading Festival an hour late. Apparently the singer has been stern in the past about being woken but claims that it is the fault of the crew and not his own that the group did not perform their set on time, resulting in a fine.

Welsh rockers Lostprophets are amongst the artists who have commented on the behaviour of Rose and his band, labelling them a joke. According to the BBC guitarist Mike Lewis stated: “It was so predictable that he was going to be late that nobody bothered questioning why. It’s so predictable, it’s boring… I don’t see it as him being a rock star or rock ‘n’ roll. I just see it as being disrespectful… It’s disrespectful to all the other bands. It’s disrespectful to all the people who’ve bought tickets. I think the guy is a joke and I think his band is a joke.”
