Henry Rollins to Appear in Documentary on Washington Punk Scene

In 2005 independent filmmaker Don Letts released his excellent documentary Punk: Attitude, a look at the punk scene in both the United States and United Kingdom during the 1970s and 1980s and how they related to changes in society during that time. Among those interviewed was Henry Rollins, now best known as the frontman of Rollins Band, but back in the early 1980s he was the singer of Black Flag.

Rollins is once again putting his knowledge to use with a new documentary entitled Salad Days: The D.C. Punk Revolution, in which director Scott Crawford looks back at the punk scene in Washington DC during the 1980s. Alongside Rollins D.C. native Rollins contributing their opinions are Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), John Stabb (Government Issue) and and Alec Mackaye (Untouchables).

Salad Days will be released next year.
