NEWS – Dir En Grey Describe New Album as “More Savage”

Japanese metallers Dir En Grey are set to release their eighth stufio album in August and their first since 2008′s Uroboros. In January they released a single entitled Lotus and since then they have been hard at work on their latest record. Guitarist and co-founder Kaoru has referred to their new material as “more savage, and from a deeper world which is completely different from any of our past works.”

As well as Lotus, their upcoming album Dum Spiro Spero also features the track Hageshisa To, Kono Mune No Naka De Karamitsuita Shakunetsu No Yami, which was previously available on the soundtrack to last year’s Saw 3D.
