NEWS – Alice Cooper and Joan Jett Re-Record Classics for Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock

The line-up for Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is constantly growing, with the likes of Pantera, Poison, Styx, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bad Brains currently attached. USA Today have revealed that rock legend Alice Cooper and punk icon Joan Jett have both contributed tracks to the upcoming game that is due for release on Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 on September 28th. Alice Cooper has re-recorded his 1973 classic No More Mr. Nice Guy (originally released on the album Billion Dollar Babies and covered by Megadeth in 1989 for the horror flick Shocker, whilst Joan Jett has reworked her Runaways track Cherry Bomb, which was first released on their eponymous 1976 album.
